A lot of the spreadsheets I work with contain conditionally formatted data, and sometimes it’s hard to remember which cells are formatted. This tutorial shows you a quick way of finding out 🙂
Press F5 and it opens the Go To dialogue box. Click Special…
Tick Conditional Formats and All then OK…
This will highlight all cells in the worksheet that contain conditionally formatted data…
If you just want to show cells that are conditionally formatted the same as the cell you’re currently in – for example click on a cell in Column C – repeat the above steps but tick Same instead of All…
This will highlight all cells in the worksheet that contain the same conditionally formatted data…
And that’s it – a quick way to identify conditionally formatted cells.
